Join Pastors Goodrich for a Bible Study every Wednesday at 10:30am at St. George Episcopal Church.  Each week will be a new study on the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday.  All are welcome.  

OUTREACH COMMITTEE – Let’s Feed Our Neighbors

This November, Outreach Committee is taking on a special project — providing 100 complete Thanksgiving meals to families in need. With many local organizations unable to host their usual Thanksgiving meals this year, we felt called to step up and make sure no one in our community goes without.

Each meal costs about $40 and will feed up to 10 people. We’re collecting both donations and volunteers to make this project possible — from purchasing and packing the meals to handing them out on Tuesday, November 25th from 1–3 PM right here at Faith Lutheran.

With the ongoing cuts to SNAP benefits and so many families struggling to make ends meet, this project feels both necessary and achievable. Together, we can do this —

Let’s feed our neighbors!

In-Reach Committee

Just a heads-up! In November we will be collecting needed items for Saving Grace. A printed list will be available to us at the beginning of the month. We will also be able to access a “wish list” online. You may bring your items to church any time during the month, and they will be presented at the altar each Sunday. They will remain around the altar until the end of November and be delivered to Saving Grace in early December.

The Schlueter-Greenwalt Foundation Daytime Warming Center is being held at St. George Episcopal Church 1024 SE Cass Ave Roseburg, OR 97470

Donations can be dropped off here at Faith Lutheran in the Narthex and at St. George’s Episcopal Church.  Volunteers are needed. Please consider helping out with this opportunity to help our houseless neighbors. Short, daytime shifts are available.
